Karing Touch Beauty was established by Katie Yarham in August 2009, following two years part-time training for City and Guilds NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy, at Great Yarmouth College.

A member of The British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC), Katie  offers a range of beauty and spa treatments based at her  treatment room in Gorleston for women and men of all ages. Ladies and children/teenagers can also enjoy beauty treatments in their own home by the way of a Pamper Party. Plus Mobile appointments are available for those who find it difficult to visit the treatment room, due to childcare arrangements and mobility issues for example.

"My aim is to provide a professional and friendly beauty service within a relaxing and welcoming salon environment, using a range of quality products that can help meet the individual's needs. The caring touch element extends to ensuring that each client leaves feeling refreshed and rejuvinated even if only having spent half an hour with me. "Me-time" is important for us all, especially as we tend to lead hectic, fast-paced lives."

                                  About Katie

Since obtaining a BSC Psychology and Sociology (Hons) degree in 2004 at City College Norwich and working in administrative and supporting roles, I began to recognise that my passion is in practically helping others. Having an interest in the human body, mental & physical health and well-being and learning about how we can look and feel better through beauty, I decided to take on the challenge of combining studying for the NVQ beauty qualification 2 evenings a week over 2 years, whilst working full-time.

This has proven to be a positive and enjoyable experience and I am very pleased that I can now share my interests with the general public, through the development of my business Karing Touch Beauty - where the focus on an excellent personal service is the key to a pleasurable beauty experience for all.

My goal over the next few years is to extend my beauty therapy learning and personal development through completing other qualifications. After my wedding in the Summer, I aim to start a Swedish Body Massage course and a qualification in nail extensions. Until then, I look forward to providing a professional, quality beauty service, using a range of beauty products designed exclusively for beauty salons and spas.
